National Sales Manager/ Regional Sales Manager/ Product Manager/ Assistant Sales Manager/ Regional Manager/ Senior Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager (HR)

HLL now requires the following personnel, for its Women’s Healthcare Division and Consumer Business Divisions, on Regular / Fixed Term Contract basis.


A. Women’s Healthcare Division
 
Women’s Healthcare Division (WHD) was initiated with a passion for making women feel complete and healthy. WHD offers a range of women healthcare products, which provide total healthcare for women of all ages-addressing their social, mental and physical well being, to make the world a better place to live for them.
 
The Division aims to attain leadership position in its respective markets and establish brand equity in respective therapeutic segments. WHD’s product basket includes highly innovative prescription products  viz Contraceptives, Ovulation Inducers, Antiemetics, Menstrual Cycle regulators, Anti fibrinolytics, MTP Pills, Pregnancy Test kits, Natural Products and Vaccines. The flagship brand Novex-DS for DUB management; occupies leadership position in its category. 

To build strong brands and drive the growth of the company, WHD has significant collaborations and joint ventures with leading national and international research organizations and corporations.
 
Today WHD has a pan India presence with Marketing Professionals spread across India with strong distribution backup and business associates to make the products available throughout the country.
 
WHD has set ambitious targets for the financial year 2009-2010 with diversified businesses such as Pediatrics, Vaccines, and Institutional Businesses.

The details of positions available are as under:

1. National Sales Manager (Vaccine Division) (Code No.HLL/HR/61/2009)

Min. Qualification: 1. Graduation preferably in Science
                             2. Preference will be given to those having MBA/ Equivalent 
                                Qualification                          

Min. Experience:    10 years in second line managerial level in the field of marketing/selling of Pharma / Vaccine products in a leading organisation. Minimum 5 years exposure in zonal level operations or heading business division in reputed companies is essential. Exposure to institutional sales, large value contracting etc. would be an advantage. The position requires extensive traveling. Should be able to work in an IT enabled environment.

Maximum Age: Not above 45 years as on 01.01.2009

Job description: 

• To achieve budgeted sales
• Maximize profitability of products 
• Determine overall strategy for the business including the markets to operate
• Design and implement promotional activities  
• Build  and develop a strong team
• Supervise, organize and motivate the sales team
• Establish smooth working with team for their related requirement
• Customer and market analysis to identify / refine manpower deployment plans
• Develop strategies for new customer acquisition and environment scanning to spot opportunities and new markets
• Evaluate and recommend products/service modifications or improvements for each category based on findings of market research, customer requirement, historical trends and competition.
• Build and nurture customer relations

Good communication and presentation skills preferred

Location: Chennai / Mumbai / Delhi

2. Regional Sales Manager (Women’s Healthcare Division / Vaccine Division)
    ( Code No. HLL/HR/62/09)

Min. Qualification: 1. Graduation preferably in Science
                                 2. Preference will be given to those having MBA/Equivalent 
                                    qualification.

Min. Experience: 7 years in front line managerial capacity in the field of Pharma marketing in a leading organization. Exposure in handling a region or large territory is desirable.

Maximum Age: Not above 40 years as on 01.01.2009

Job description:    

• Manage and create sales territories,
• Set target and carry out business development activity,   manage, train and motivate the sales team for better productivity,
• Track secondary sales and Product movement
• Analyse therapeutic segments to refine customers’ list depending on product portfolio of each segment.

Good communication and presentation skills preferred.

Location:    Chennai / Bangalore / Hyderabad / Kolkata / Delhi/ Lucknow

3. Product Manager (Women’s Healthcare Division / Vaccine Division)
 (Code No. HLL/HR/63/09)

Min. Qualification:       1. Science or Pharma Graduates 
                                   2. MBA/Equivallent qualification
.
Min. Experience:  5 years in Sales / Product Management in pharmaceutical / Vaccine field. Experience in new product development and launches are desirable. Must possess excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Should have good understanding of promotional activities, implementing innovative promotional methods, agency selection and management etc. Should be able to work in an IT enabled environment.

Good communication and presentation skills preferred.

Job description: 

• Assist the GPM (Group Product Manager) in developing marketing plans and budgeting  
• Design and develop visual aids for the field force
• Evolve pricing strategies  
• Analyse and interpret the ORG-IMS data and provide it to the management and to field team.
• Design and develop scientific materials such as product monographs and leaflets for the customers
• Interface with Factory and Quality Control Department for process improvement and new product development

• Make regular market visits to stay in touch with the final consumer.
• Coordinate with advertising agencies for developing brand promotions

Good communication and presentation skills preferred.

4. Assistant Sales Manager (Institution) (Code No. HLL/HR/64/09)

Min. Qualification: 1. Graduation preferably in Science
                                 2. Preference will be given to those having
                                     MBA/Equivalent qualification.

Min. Experience: 7 years of experience of which at least three years in Institutional Sales. Must possess excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Should possess sound knowledge of MS Office and familiar to work in IT enabled environment.

Maximum Age: Not above 39 years as on 01.01.2009

Job description: 

• Track institutional tenders / bids, participate / submit the bids.
• Liaise with Government and Private Institution to generate business for the division,
• Track the supply of stocks to the institutions and collect the payments,
• Track competitors and their pricing strategies for each institution
• Analyse therapeutic segments to refine customers list depending on product portfolio of each segment.

Location: Mumbai / Bangalore / Delhi / Kolkata / Guwahati
 
B. Consumer Business Division

The Consumer Business Division (CBD) of HLL markets some of the best Brands of Contraceptives in the country. “MOODS” a Super Brand is the flagship condom brand of HLL is marketed by this division. The Division also markets “SAHELI”- the only globally acclaimed Non-steroidal Oral Contraceptive Pill, “USTAD” Condoms; “VELVET”- Female Condoms; PREVENTOL- Emergency Contraceptive Pills; MAKESURE Brand of Rapid Test Kits for Pregnancy, Malaria, Dengue, HIV etc. HLL’s Ayurvedic OTC products are being launched by the Consumer Business Division. With a strong field force present across the length and breadth of the country and with a dedicated group of channel partners, the Consumer Division is set to achieve the leadership position in the market within next five years.

Min. Qualification: 1. Graduation preferably in Science / Engineering
                                 2. MBA from a reputed institute.

Min. Experience:  8 years experience in the marketing of FMCG products at national or regional level in a leading organisation.

Maximum Age: Not above 40 years as on 01.01.2009

Job description: 

• To oversee the sales operations of the Consumer Business Division thereby achieving both Top-line and Bottom-line growth for the Product Groups.

Knowledge of Hindi and one of the regional languages is   essential.

Location: Delhi / Mumbai / Chennai / Bangalore


2. Regional Manager (East) (Code No. HLL/HR/66/09)

Min. Qualification: 1. Graduation preferably in Science / Engineering
                                 2. MBA from a reputed institute.

Min. Experience:  5 years experience in the marketing of FMCG products at national or regional level in a leading organization.

Maximum Age: Not above 40 years as on 01.01.2009

Job description: 

• To oversee the operations of the Eastern Region comprising of the States of West Bengal / Bihar / Jharkhand / Orissa / NE.
• The person shall be responsible for the achievement of both Top-line and Bottom-line growth of Eastern Region.

Knowledge of Hindi and one of the regional languages is essential.

Location: Kolkata


3. Regional Manager (South) (Code No. HL L/HR/67/09)


Min. Qualification: 1. Graduation in Science / Engineering
                                 2. MBA from a reputed institute.

Min. Experience:  5 years experience in the marketing of FMCG products at national or regional level in a leading organization.

Maximum Age: Not above 40 years as on 01.01.2009

Job description: 
• To oversee the operations of South Region comprising of the States of Kerala / Tamil Nadu / Andhra Pradesh / Karnataka. The person shall be responsible for the achievement of both Top-line and Bottom-line growth of South Region.

Knowledge of Hindi and one of the regional languages is essential.

Location: Bangalore / Chennai


C. Human Resource Department

1. Senior Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager (HR)(Code No.HLL/HR/68/09)


Min. Qualification: M S W / PGDPM  equivalent to M B A/ M B A (HR)/ Equivalent                    qualification


Min. Post Qlfn.  Experience:

3 yrs for Sr. Asst. Manager and 5 yrs. 
for Deputy Manager in HR generalist function in a reputed  organization with Proficiency in M S Office and HRIS .

Maximum Age:  40 yrs. as on 1.1.09


Job description:
• To act as HR business partner & enabler to the Vertical Heads
• Create appropriate job / competency briefs for effective recruitment and management of sourcing talent from appropriate sources
• Conduct  interviews and recommend appropriate talent intakes
• Taking Compensation fitment decisions aligned to company philosophy
• Induction and Integration planning & delivery to managers and employees
• Benchmark & setting up HR processes wherever gaps exist
• Developing and implementing staffing and learning strategies,
• Developing retention strategies
• Manage Performance Management System,
• Manage Payroll related matters/inputs
• Manage  Learning and development
• Manage   Employee Welfare – through various welfare measures, employee communication, team building,
• Manage employee engagement through work life balance initiatives
• Manage legal matters related to labor.
• Other day to day HR related activities

General Conditions

a) Upper age limit can be relaxed by 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST and 3 years for OBC and 10 yrs for PH as per Govt. of India Rules.

b) Relaxation in age and experience may be considered for exceptionally competent candidates.
