Antisera test is based on agglutination reaction. The positive agglutination reaction will occur when the blood sample containing A/B/D antigen will react with the specific anti-A/B/D antibody. Absence of agglutination reaction indicates the negative result and indicates the absence of A/B/D antigen in sample. The antigens A/B/D react with the corresponding antibody in Antisera reagent to give agglutination reaction.
